RV Series Sediment Strainers protect critical pipeline components by removing solids and suspended impurities. The Y-pattern strainers feature a bottom-entry design that permits maintenance on the valve while in-line. The RV Series PVC Sediment Strainer with True Union Ends and EPDM Seals comes in 1/2 in. through 2 in. sizes. Its clear PVC construction permits inspection of the screen while in service. The true union ends allow the valve to be easily removed from the piping system and fully serviced as required. This specialty valve comes in socket (IPS) and female threaded (FNPT) styles and has a PVC mesh screen in ASTM 35 mesh size.
